My goal here is to help the community of Bad Axe Michigan and/or the surrounding nearby communities to collectively share the benefit of windpower or other sources to lower or even ELIMINATE our residential energy costs. This is entirely possible!! If we all come together, this will not only help our local economy but, it will help to conserve the environment by using a renewable resource! The really great thing about going green is that it helps the poor by offsetting our already large utility costs like the monthly water bill which has forced many people to move elsewhere. More people now, than any other time in history are looking for work and if we do this correctly, we can employ people and companies from within our city to do the work. So many desperate people are left with no choice but to ask for help from the dwindling government sources who may not always be able to provide the funding. Lowering energy rates will be a way to relieve the struggling Michigan agencies who are running out of money. The City of Bad Axe has land that is sitting vacant that can be potentially utilized for a shared benefit to everyone in the city limits and should be! I'm sure that anyone in the right state of mind would GLADLY pay a TINY price hike in their property taxes if the outcome was an energy rate so low that we could all afford to pay! Please consider signing this petition if you agree that this idea is worth taking a look at! To make this work we need signatures and we will need your support! Does anyone want to be the first to get this thing started? One thing that needs to be addressed here first is that this forum will begin as an open discussion until we see where it takes us! I'm sure alot of people have topics of concern in which they feel need to be voiced. You came to the right place. This forum is going to begin as a work in progress! Once everything gets squared away you as the write will basically drive this discussion into whatever direction you take it! Gossip is ok if you aren't offending anyone and can also be a great place to get some publicity for a new business.
